Fifth Attorney for DOJ Takes Over

David F. Shuey has replaced Aimee Bevan as an attorney of record for federal defendants. Mr. Shuey is the fifth attorney to be assigned to the case in the past 4.5 years.

The Department of Justice has not asked for a delay in the proceedings. The scientists are scheduled to file their brief on April 16. A reply from the Department of Justice is due 30 days later. The case is scheduled for a hearing on June 19, 2001.
