Montana House Bill 165

Originally posted 03/30/01

HB165 passed the senate judiciary committee yesterday with one significant amendment - an explicit exclusion of the Anzick artifact collection. The language and procedure were tightened somewhat, although ultimately the same principles and process are in place. This bill is expected to be passed.

It will probably take a day or so for the amended bill to be posted on the legislature web. While it shows the correct current status, the bill is NOT the current text as of today.
